Ladies, we’ve all been there. Our “honey” decides to knock off that item on the “honey- do” list that requires he crawl up an extension ladder. Perhaps it’s to wash the second floor windows or hang the Christmas lights. Everything looks great until you realize the extension ladder is perched on uneven terrain below, leaving your man precariously balancing on a crooked, wobbly ladder!
Let’s face it. None of us wants to see our man come crashing down to the ground, putting him out of commission for weeks. We could think of less costly ways for the opportunity to say, “I told you so!” While you probably have life insurance on your man, let’s see how to not make that claim!

Ladder safety is something we ladies need to pay attention to. As you can see from this statistic, nearly half of all “loss of earning power” claims are ladder-related accidents.
And what kind of injuries result from ladder-related accidents? It’s usually fractures, strains, sprains or concussions.
So what is causing these ladder-related accidents?
About 24% of the time ladder falls are caused by a foot misstep. But a whopping 58% of the time ladder falls are caused by loss of balance or the ladder moving.
This doesn’t have to happen. Extension ladders are not complete without ladder levelers. Ladder levelers are extensions to the legs of an extension ladder that do two things: they enable the extension ladder to remain level on an uneven surface. They also provide a bigger, more secure foot for the extension ladder that makes the entire unit safer, less likely to slip, tip or move.
